Nourish Community
-End Of Summer Banquet 2024-

In collaboration with Volf

Saturday 14th September
-6pm until late-

We are thrilled to announce our End Of Summer Banquet, returning for the second year on Saturday 14th September, 2024.

Nick and Rich welcome you to join them back in the garden for an evening of great food and great company.

The garden will be brimming with abundance and our dear friends and chefs, Nikki and Luke from Volf, will delight us with a selection of irresistible dishes crafted from this year’s harvest and locally foraged delights.

Our aim and vision for the End Of Summer Banquet is to help foster an evening of connection, celebrating real food, community and engaging with some of the great minds working towards a brighter, more resilient future.

This year, we are excited to welcome our guest speakers:

Charles Dowding, renowned worldwide for his pioneering and passionate approach to sustainable gardening, particularly his transformative "no dig" method, which has greatly influenced and inspired our garden practices here at Nourish Community.

Katherine Macbean, founder of the People’s Health Alliance and People’s Food & Farming Alliance, dedicated to empowering communities with greater control, self-sufficiency and improved health and farming practices for the benefit of the people.

Dan Astin-Gregory, founder of Elevate International, a change making organisation dedicated to creating thought-provoking events and podcasts to address some of the most pressing issues facing humankind today.

The evening will commence at 6pm with a refreshing kombucha style Pimm's or a none alcoholic version upon arrival, followed by a relaxed wander around the garden.

We aim to have everyone seated for our first speaker at 7pm, followed by a sit down buffet style dinner being served at 7:30pm.

The menu created by Nikki and Luke will be 100% plant based and gluten free.

Feel free to follow us on social media or attend our volunteering and open days to discover the story behind each dish, from seed to plate.

We will have fire pits to help provide warmth, however please do dress accordingly, as we can never be too sure how the weather will be on the night.
